VIRTUOS USB adapter EKN9001 connects POS cash drawers to a computer via USB without requiring an external power supply. It provides both trigger and status-monitoring functions and uses the Prolific PL2303TA chipset so recent Windows versions do not need additional drivers. The adapter also supports Linux and Android tablets (Android 4.2 and newer). For Virtuos cash drawers use an RJ12 24V cable (EPP12031A), which is included with Virtuos drawers or can be purchased separately.
