The kit contains green MXD-100 Vswabs and Corner Swabs plus two liquid cleaners (Smear Away™ and VDust Plus™) formulated to work with modern hydrophobic sensor coatings. The dual-solution approach lets you address both heavy organic or oily contamination and fast-evaporating water-based stains while minimizing streaking when used as directed.

Smear Away™ is a powerful, water-based formulation that dissolves and removes tough stains, oils and lubricants and includes anti-fog and strong anti-static properties; it removes smears on the first swipe and contains anti-scratch components to protect the sensor surface. How to use
Begin by visually inspecting the sensor. Select one cleaning liquid and a new swab. If the stain is removed with the first liquid, stop. If not, discard that swab, choose the other liquid with a fresh swab and continue. Do not apply both liquids to the same swab. Always swab in a single, consistent direction and use each face of the swab only once. For general sensor area cleaning use the regular Vswab®; for contamination in corners and along edges use the Corner Swab™ as directed.
Usage recommendations
If Smear Away™ causes streaking on hydrophobic coatings due to slight over-saturation, reduce the liquid on the swab, allow more evaporation time, or use VDust Plus™ with a new swab to remove residual water streaks.
