## Summary description

WELDTITE Dirtwash is a 250 ml aerosol disc brake cleaner formulated to remove grease, oil, brake fluid, dust and contaminants from rotor surfaces and brake components. Fast-drying and residue-free, it restores braking performance and aids safe maintenance of discs, pads, calipers and related parts for bicycles, motorcycles and light vehicles.

## Long description

WELDTITE Dirtwash Disc Brake Cleaner Aerosol Spray 250ml is a fast-acting, residue-free cleaner developed to remove grease, oil, brake fluid, dust and other contaminants from disc rotor surfaces and associated brake components. Packaged in an easy-to-spray 250 ml aerosol, this formula is suitable for routine maintenance and targeted cleaning to help restore braking contact and performance on bicycles, motorcycles and light vehicles.
Advantages
The cleaner evaporates quickly without leaving residues, reducing the risk of contamination after application. Its aerosol format delivers a controlled spray for precise cleaning of rotors, pads, calipers and surrounding hardware. By removing oils and particulates it helps maintain consistent braking performance and supports safer service intervals.
Suitable for
Cleaning disc brake rotors on bicycles and electric bikes
Maintenance of motorcycle brake discs and pads
Light vehicle disc brake surface preparation before pad replacement
Removing grease and contaminants from calipers and brake hardware
When it may not be suitable
This product is formulated for external use on metallic brake components and rotors. It is not designed as a lubricant, nor should it be used where a protective coating or long-term corrosion inhibitor is required. Avoid using the aerosol on painted surfaces, rubber seals or plastic components unless compatibility is confirmed.
Key specifications
Form: 250 ml aerosol spray
Action: Fast-drying, residue-free cleaning
Targets: Grease, oil, brake fluid, dust and contaminants
Typical applications: Disc rotors, pads, calipers and brake hardware
How to use
Park the vehicle or bicycle on a stable surface and secure it to prevent movement. Shake the aerosol can well before use. Hold the can upright and spray directly onto the rotor surface and other brake components from a short distance, allowing runoff to carry away contaminants. Allow the cleaned parts to dry completely and ventilate the area before reassembling or using the vehicle. Follow any vehicle or component manufacturer instructions for cleaning procedures and safety intervals.
What to consider before purchase
Intended surface: suitable for metal rotors and brake components only
Volume: 250 ml aerosol provides multiple small cleaning applications
Compatibility: avoid use on painted, plastic or rubber parts unless specified safe
Safety: use in a well-ventilated area and follow label safety instructions
Usage recommendations
Use WELDTITE Dirtwash before pad bedding-in procedures or after exposure to oils and road contaminants. For best results, clean rotors and pads separately and allow complete drying before testing brakes; do not introduce any lubricants to braking surfaces.
