## Long description

The Goobay 66643 networking cable Cat6 S/FTP 2 m RJ-45 red and white round is designed to provide reliable data transmission and stable network connectivity in both residential and office environments. Measuring two metres in length, this patch cable bridges the distance between computers, routers, switches, network printers, and other Ethernet-enabled devices. Built to meet Cat6 standards and equipped with advanced S/FTP shielding, it ensures that your network signals remain protected from external electromagnetic interference, delivering consistent performance for demanding tasks such as streaming, gaming, and large file transfers.
Advantages
This network cable features double shielding consisting of an aluminium foil shield for individual wire pairs and an overall aluminium braid shield, which effectively minimizes signal loss and interference. The incorporation of a high-quality copper conductor combined with gold-plated contacts on the male RJ-45 connectors guarantees optimal conductivity and corrosion resistance. Furthermore, the cable includes practical bend protection, a sturdy jacket to prevent physical breakage, and latch protection on the connectors to prevent snagging or snapping during installation and removal.
Suitable for
Connecting desktop computers and laptops to local area networks
Linking routers, network switches, and patch panels
Home and office network setups requiring stable high-speed data transfer
Power over Ethernet applications
This cable may not be suitable for large-scale enterprise server rooms or long-distance outdoor installations where lengths significantly exceeding two metres or specialized weather-resistant jackets are strictly required.
Key specifications
Cable length: 2 m
Cable standard: Cat6
Cable shielding: S/FTP (S-STP)
Connector 1: RJ-45 male
Connector 2: RJ-45 male
Cable shape: Round
Color: Red and white
To use the cable, simply insert one of the male RJ-45 connectors into the Ethernet port of your networking device, such as a computer or games console, and plug the other end into a corresponding port on your router, switch, or wall socket until you hear a secure click. Ensure that the path of the cable is free from sharp bends or excessive pinching to maintain optimal signal integrity over time.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that a length of two metres is sufficient for the distance between your target network devices
Confirm that your hardware supports RJ-45 connections and Cat6 Ethernet standards
Check whether the red and white color scheme matches your aesthetic or cable management requirements
Make sure not to pull the cable forcefully by the cord when disconnecting; always grip the plug housing and press the latch down gently to preserve the longevity of the connector and your equipment ports.
