## Long description

The Goobay 69576 Cat7 S/FTP Round Networking Cable RJ-45 Male to RJ-45 Male 2 m Green is a high-performance networking cable designed to deliver fast and stable data transmission for modern homes and offices. Measuring 2 metres in length with a practical round shape, this green Ethernet cable ensures a reliable wired connection for all your essential network devices. Built to rigorous standards, it features advanced shielding and robust connectors to minimize signal loss and interference.
Advantages
This networking cable utilizes the Cat7 standard combined with S/FTP shielding, incorporating both foil shielding for individual wire pairs and an overall braid shield to effectively prevent electromagnetic interference. It is equipped with male RJ-45 connectors on both ends, featuring gold-plated contacts and latch protection to prevent snagging and breakage during installation. The inclusion of high-quality copper conductors guarantees a powerful and uninterrupted network connection capable of supporting demanding data transfer tasks.
Suitable for
Connecting PCs, laptops, and smart TVs to routers or switches
Linking game consoles such as PlayStation 5 or Xbox X to high-speed internet
Setting up reliable wired local area networks in homes and offices
Supporting high-bandwidth applications and network environments
This cable may not be suitable for long-distance network runs that exceed its specified two-metre length limit. It is also not designed for permanent outdoor installations or industrial environments requiring specialized armored cabling.
Key specifications
Cable standard: Cat7
Cable shielding: S/FTP (S-STP)
Cable length: 2 m
Cable shape: Round
Connector 1: RJ-45 Male
Connector 2: RJ-45 Male
Product colour: Green
To use this networking cable, simply plug one male RJ-45 connector into the network port of your active device, such as a computer or game console, and insert the other male RJ-45 connector into your router, switch, or wall outlet. Ensure the connectors are pushed in firmly until the protective latch clicks securely into place.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that the two-metre length is sufficient for the distance between your connected devices
Check that your network equipment utilizes standard RJ-45 ports
Ensure your setup requires a wired Ethernet connection rather than wireless
Always route the networking cable carefully along walls or desks to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension, or pinching, which can damage the internal copper conductors and degrade signal performance over time.
