## Long description

The Goobay XLR Cable 3-pin Male to 3-pin Female Audio Connection Cord 2 m is a dependable audio cable designed for clear signal transmission in professional audio systems, recording studios, and live stage performances. With a length of 2 meters, this balanced microphone cable connects microphones, mixers, amplifiers, and other sound equipment securely and efficiently, ensuring minimal interference during operation.
Advantages
This XLR audio cable delivers reliable signal transmission thanks to its balanced design, which helps reduce electromagnetic and radio frequency interference in demanding acoustic environments. The durable 3-pin male and 3-pin female connectors provide a secure, stable connection that withstands frequent plugging and unplugging. The 2-meter length offers practical reach for standard studio setups and stage use without excess cable clutter.
Suitable for
Connecting professional microphones to audio mixers
Linking mixing consoles to power amplifiers
Studio recording sessions and vocal booths
Live stage performances and music venues
Connecting active studio monitors and audio interfaces
When it may not be suitable
This cable is not suitable for connecting instruments with unbalanced outputs, such as electric guitars, directly to standard amplifiers without a proper DI box. Additionally, the 2-meter length may be too short for large-scale stage setups or permanent long-distance wall installations.
Key specifications
Cable type: Balanced audio cable
Connector 1: 3-pin XLR male
Connector 2: 3-pin XLR female
Cable length: 2 meters
Application: Professional audio and microphone connection
How to use
To use the cable, align the pins of the 3-pin male XLR connector with the corresponding sockets on your microphone or audio source and push gently until the locking mechanism clicks into place. Insert the 3-pin female end into the input port of your mixer, amplifier, or audio interface until secure. To disconnect, press the release tab on the female connector and pull straight out without tugging on the cable itself.
What to consider before purchase
Verify that your audio equipment uses standard 3-pin XLR connections
Measure the required distance between devices to ensure the 2-meter length is sufficient
Check whether your setup requires balanced or unbalanced signal routing
Usage recommendations: Route the cable away from power lines and heavy electrical equipment to prevent potential electromagnetic interference. Avoid sharp bends, coiling the cable too tightly, or stepping on it to maintain optimal signal integrity and extend its operational lifespan.
