YATO YT-73930 welding helmet is a passive protective mask designed to shield the face and eyes during welding operations. It provides basic protection from sparks, spatter and heat and is suitable for general welding tasks for both hobbyists and professionals who need a simple reliable face shield.
Advantages
The helmet offers a true-colour self-darkening filter with the highest optical class 1/1/1/1, a large viewing area and UV/IR protection to DIN 16. The filter is protected by a durable polycarbonate pane and is equipped with four arc sensors and precision electronics capable of detecting TIG arcs from as low as 5 A. Power is supplied by a solar cell and a rechargeable LIR2450 battery with USB-C charging. The shell includes an external button to disable the auto-dimming function so the helmet can be used as a passive face shield for tasks such as cutting or grinding.
