It increases the device drop specification from "4 ft. to tile over concrete @ room temperature" to "4 ft. to concrete across device's operating temperature range". The boot is a custom accessory and is not compatible with the TC20K (keyboard) model, the Power Pack Battery, or the RFD2000 RFID sled. Devices with the boot attached remain compatible with the Single Slot Charge-Only ShareCradle (CRD-TC2X-BS1CO-02) and the 5-Slot Charge-Only ShareCradle (CRDTC2X-SE5CO-02). For ordering, contact your Zebra representative to open a Custom Product Request (CPR).
