Description

The PowerWalker VFI 2000CRM LCD is a true double-conversion online UPS delivering 2 kVA (1600 W) of reliable backup power in a compact 2U rack/tower form factor. Designed for sensitive servers, network and telephone systems and industrial equipment, it provides pure sine wave output, active cooling and a wide input voltage range to cope with harsh electrical environments. The unit includes a 9 Ah 12 V battery, four AC outlets and monitoring software for status and graceful shutdown.

Advantages

The UPS uses a double-conversion topology for continuous online protection and voltage regulation, with pure sine wave output and an output power factor of 0.8. It accepts a wide input voltage range (110–300 VAC) and incorporates input power factor correction (0.99). Additional features include a frequency converter mode (50/60 Hz), a smart battery charger to extend battery life, and optional accessories such as SNMP module, dry contact AS/400 card, MBS, ATS, additional battery packs and rack installation kit.

How to use

Install the UPS in a 19" rack using the rack installation kit or place it as a tower on a stable, ventilated surface. Connect critical equipment to the UPS AC outlets and plug the UPS into a grounded mains supply within the specified input voltage range. Use the included monitoring software over USB to configure alerts and perform orderly shutdowns when the battery is low. For longer runtime or heavier loads, install compatible external battery packs according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Usage recommendations
