Voigtländer VC-Meter II light meter Black

The Voigtländer VC-Meter II light meter Black is a compact fixed-point matching exposure meter designed for steady light measurements. Its small dimensions (38 x 36.9 x 24.9 mm) and 42 g weight make it suitable for handheld use or carrying in a camera bag. The meter uses a silicon photodiode and a narrow photometry angle of approximately 30° to provide localized incident-style readings, and it displays results via a three-point LED fixed-point matching system for quick exposure decisions. The device accepts common button-cell or a single primary battery for flexible power options.
The meter offers a precise photometry range from EV 1 (1 s at f/1.4) to EV 20 (1/2000 s at f/22) and supports film speeds from ISO 25 to ISO 3200, allowing measurements in a wide variety of lighting conditions. Its silicon photodiode sensor provides consistent response and the 3-point LED display simplifies exposure matching without menus or complex settings. Low weight and compact size make it convenient for travel and on-location work, while battery compatibility with LR44, SR44 or CR-1/3N ensures easy replacement.
Point the meter toward the area of steady light you want to measure, ensuring the approximately 30° photometry angle covers the subject region. Power the device using two LR44/SR44 cells or one CR-1/3N battery. Read the exposure indicated on the three-point LED display and match aperture and shutter speed on your camera according to the displayed fixed-point indication. For low-light measurements, allow the meter time to stabilize for the most accurate reading within its EV range.
For consistent results, take measurements in stable lighting conditions and avoid rapid changes in light direction. Use the meter for spot or localized readings rather than wide ambient averages because of its approximately 30° photometry angle. Carry spare LR44 or SR44 cells or a CR-1/3N battery when shooting on location.
