Use the Mounting Kit 2N 9157001 Black to install the 2N® IP Style intercom into a wall. The flush-mounting box includes an elevating feature that helps align the intercom with the wall surface so only the intended front part is visible. A too-deep wall recess will not prevent correct installation. The kit also provides a tilt-out mechanism for easier access to cabling during installation.
The mounting box offers precise alignment with adjustable elevation, a tilt-out mechanism that simplifies cabling work, and a durable construction suitable for flush installation of the 2N® IP Style. It is supplied in black to match the device finish and supports a clean, professional installation without modifying the intercom itself.
Prepare the wall opening to fit the flush-mounting box, insert the box into the recess and use the elevating feature to align the intercom front with the wall surface. Route the cables through the box and use the tilt-out mechanism to access the wiring comfortably. Secure the intercom to the box following the 2N® IP Style installation instructions and fasten all fixings.
Follow the manufacturer’s installation manual for the 2N® IP Style intercom. Ensure cables are routed before final fastening and verify the intercom front is flush with the wall after adjustment. Use appropriate fixings for the wall material.
