Wound Gel Strips 3M Nexcare Gel Strip Big A (pack of 5) – 3M CANP-3281
3M Nexcare Gel Strip Big A are adhesive wound gel strips supplied in a pack of five. Designed to protect minor cuts, abrasions and blister-prone areas, these gel strips combine a soft hydrogel pad with an adhesive border to cushion the wound and maintain a moist environment that supports gentle healing. The product adheres to skin surfaces, reduces friction from shoes or clothing and is suitable for everyday first-aid use and wound protection during activity.
The hydrogel pad provides cushioning and shock absorption while helping to keep the wound surface moist, which can support epithelialisation. The adhesive border ensures secure placement on a variety of skin areas, including curved or mobile parts of the body. The transparent design allows visual inspection of the wound without removing the dressing. The strips are single-use, easy to apply and remove with minimal trauma to surrounding skin.
Clean and dry the skin around the wound before application. Remove the protective backing and place the hydrogel pad directly over the injured area, pressing the adhesive border gently onto intact surrounding skin to secure the strip. Change the dressing according to wound condition or if the adhesive loses adherence; follow standard first-aid guidelines for wound care. Discard after single use.
For best results, use as part of routine first-aid: keep the wound clean, monitor for signs of infection, and replace the strip when it becomes soiled or detached. If the wound shows increased redness, swelling, heat or discharge, seek medical advice.
