Headset 3M PELTOR LiteCom
The 3M™ PELTOR™ LiteCom headset combines hearing protection with built-in short-range two-way communication. It operates as a PMR radio on the 446 MHz band with 8 channels and 38 sub-channels, and includes a noise-cancelling microphone, level-dependent ambient listening and support for Bluetooth® A2DP streaming. The headset is lightweight (0.418 kg), available in black, blue and white, and uses a neck-band wearing style with supra-aural ear coupling.
The headset provides integrated two-way communication without separate radios, a voice-guided menu for easy operation, VOX handsfree capability, and noise-cancelling microphone technology to improve speech intelligibility. Level-dependent function lets users monitor surrounding sounds while wearing hearing protection. Bluetooth A2DP enables stereo streaming from compatible devices for situational audio or media playback.
Fit the neck-band so the earcups sit comfortably over the ears and adjust the position for a secure seal. Power on the headset and use the voice-guided menu to select the desired PMR channel and sub-channel. Pair a Bluetooth device via the headset's A2DP profile if stereo streaming or external audio is required. Use the VOX function for handsfree radio transmission or press the push-to-talk control if available. Adjust level-dependent listening to permit ambient sound monitoring as needed.
Use the headset within the recommended short-range radio environment and follow local regulations for PMR 446 MHz devices. Ensure seals on earcups are clean and intact for effective hearing protection, and charge or replace batteries according to the manufacturer's instructions to maintain communication reliability.
