Absorbent Foam Liner for Petzl Vertex Helmets by 3M (MPN A010LA00)
Absorbent Foam Liner for Petzl Vertex Helmets by 3M (MPN A010LA00)
Replaceable absorbent foam liner designed by 3M to fit inside compatible Petzl Vertex helmets. This liner is intended to absorb sweat and moisture from the head during demanding activities such as industrial work, rope access and climbing, helping maintain a drier helmet interior and reducing odor buildup. The liner is supplied as a consumable maintenance part for helmets that accept removable padding systems.
The absorbent foam construction delivers rapid moisture uptake while remaining lightweight and low-profile so it does not interfere with helmet fit. As a replaceable insert, it allows regular hygiene maintenance without replacing the helmet shell or suspension. The liner is simple to install and remove, enabling quick swaps on-site to restore comfort and extend the usable life of helmet padding.
To install, remove the existing liner or padding from the helmet according to the helmet manufacturer's instructions, position the absorbent foam liner inside the helmet so it aligns with the forehead and crown contact areas, and press gently to secure. Replace the liner when moisture retention or odor indicates reduced effectiveness, or follow your organisation's PPE maintenance schedule. Clean the helmet shell and suspension as recommended by the helmet manufacturer; do not machine-wash the foam insert unless the manufacturer specifies it as washable.
Store spare liners in a dry, ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Replace liners on a regular basis in high-sweat environments and inspect helmet fit after installation to ensure comfort and correct positioning.
