Abena film dispenser ABENA Cater-Line 45 cm steel with saw blade for film rolls

Abena film dispenser ABENA Cater-Line 45 cm steel with saw blade for film rolls is a wall-mountable dispensing unit designed to hold and cut 45 cm wide film rolls used in professional kitchens, catering and packaging stations. Constructed from steel with a silver finish, the dispenser accepts film rolls in the specified packaging format and incorporates an integrated saw blade to provide straight, controlled cuts. The unit is intended to streamline dispensing of protective and cling films while keeping hands free and work surfaces clear.

Advantages

The steel construction offers durability and easy surface cleaning suitable for busy food-preparation or packaging environments. The integrated saw blade provides a consistent cutting edge that reduces film tearing and waste. Wall mounting saves counter space and places the film at an ergonomic height for fast, one-handed dispensing. The silver finish resists visible wear and matches professional stainless-steel fixtures.

Suitable for

• Dispensing and cutting cling film or protective film up to 45 cm wide
• Commercial kitchens, catering services and food preparation stations
• Packaging stations where a fixed, durable dispenser is required
• Environments that need quick, hygienic film handling and reduced waste

When it may not be suitable

This dispenser is not intended for use with film rolls wider than 45 cm or with non-standard core diameters that do not match the dispenser’s roll holder. It is designed for films supplied in roll formats compatible with the stated width and may not function correctly with unconventional or specialty films such as very thick industrial films or paper-based wraps.

Key specifications

• Material: Steel with silver finish
• Designed roll width: 45 cm
• Mounting type: Wall-mountable
• Cutting mechanism: Integrated saw blade for straight cuts
• Intended use: Dispensing cling film/protective film in commercial settings

How to use

Mount the dispenser securely to a suitable wall using appropriate fasteners for your surface. Place a compatible film roll on the holder and thread the film across the front so it sits against the saw blade. Pull the required length of film and press firmly against the blade to cut with a single motion. Replace film rolls when depleted and inspect the blade periodically; clean the dispenser surface with a mild detergent and avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.

What to consider before purchase

• Check that your film rolls are 45 cm wide and have cores compatible with a fixed roll holder
• Verify wall material and available space for secure mounting at a practical working height
• Consider the type and thickness of film you will use to ensure the saw blade suits cutting needs

Usage recommendations

For safe and efficient operation, install the dispenser at an ergonomic height near the main preparation or packaging area. Use gentle, steady pressure when cutting to avoid accidental contact with the saw blade. Keep spare rolls nearby and schedule periodic checks of the blade edge; replace or service the cutting element if it becomes dull to maintain clean cuts and reduce film waste.
