ABUS BNC 2m Coaxial Cable Black with Male Connectors

The ABUS BNC 2m Coaxial Cable in black is a reliable solution designed for video surveillance and security systems. Measuring 2 meters in length, this pre-assembled cable is equipped with male connectors on both ends to ensure secure and stable signal transmission between compatible security cameras and recording devices. Built with standard electrical properties, it provides a dependable connection for professional or residential monitoring setups.

Advantages

This ABUS coaxial cable offers a pre-assembled design that saves time during installation by eliminating the need for manual connector attachment. The robust black casing blends discreetly into various environments while protecting the internal conductor. With male connectors on both sides and a standardized impedance of 75 ohms, it minimizes signal loss and ensures consistent video quality across short distances.

Suitable for

• Connecting analog security cameras to DVRs
• Linking video surveillance components over a 2-meter distance
• Setting up small-scale home or office monitoring systems
• Replacing worn or faulty BNC video cables

When it may not be suitable

This cable is not suitable for installations requiring a distance greater than 2 meters unless used with compatible couplers or extensions. It is also designed specifically for BNC video connections and cannot be used for HDMI, standard network Ethernet, or power-only device connections without appropriate converters.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Color: Black
• Connector 1: Male BNC
• Connector 2: Male BNC
• Impedance: 75 ohm

How to use

To use the ABUS BNC coaxial cable, first ensure that both your security camera and recording device are powered off to prevent electrical surges. Take one end of the cable and insert the male BNC connector into the video output port of the camera, pushing and twisting it slightly to lock it into place. Connect the remaining male BNC connector to the corresponding video input port on your recording device using the same push-and-twist motion. Once both ends are securely attached, power on your equipment to verify the video signal transmission.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your security camera and recorder both use standard BNC connections
• Measure the required distance between your devices to ensure the 2-meter length is sufficient
• Check if additional cable management accessories are needed for your specific routing path

Usage recommendations: Route the cable away from sharp edges, heavy foot traffic, and high-voltage electrical lines to prevent physical damage and electromagnetic interference that could affect video clarity.
