Power Distribution Unit cable Acar F5 IEC with 3 m length
Acar F5 IEC 3m cable is a replacement power lead designed for devices that use a standard IEC connector. Its 3 metre length allows for greater placement flexibility in server racks, PDUs, UPS systems and desktop equipment where additional distance between power outlets and devices is required. The cable is intended for mains power connections with an IEC interface and fits installations that need simple, reliable power routing without additional adapters.
The cable provides extended reach compared with typical short IEC leads, enabling neater cable management and reduced strain on equipment ports. Constructed for standard mains voltage use, it offers compatibility with a wide range of rack-mount and consumer devices that accept IEC connectors. Its single-piece design simplifies replacement of worn or missing power cords and helps maintain continuity of operation for PDUs, UPS units and desktop systems.
Insert the IEC connector into the device inlet and plug the opposite end into a compatible mains socket or PDU outlet. Ensure the connections are secure and that the cable is routed to avoid sharp bends, pinch points and heat sources. Before use, verify that the mains voltage and current capacity are appropriate for the powered equipment. Disconnect power at the outlet before connecting or disconnecting the cable when possible.
For reliable operation, route the cable to avoid tension at the connector ends and maintain clear airflow around powered devices. Replace the cable if insulation is damaged or connectors are loose. Use cable ties or routing channels to prevent accidental disconnection in rack environments.
