Aluminium Tape Strips ACI Partner T-1 10 x 1 mm cut, 40 mm length
ACI Partner aluminium tape strips T-1 are pre-cut metal pieces measuring 10 x 1 mm with a length of 40 mm. These thin aluminium strips provide a conductive, corrosion-resistant surface suitable for small-scale shielding, grounding, seam joining and repair work. Their narrow profile and consistent dimensions make them convenient for use where space is limited or where precise, repeatable strips are required.
The strips combine low weight with good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance typical of aluminium, enabling reliable grounding and shielding in compact assemblies. Pre-cut sizing eliminates cutting and measuring on site, saving time and reducing waste. Uniform thickness and clean edges make them easy to handle and fasten with adhesives, soldering, crimping or small mechanical fasteners.
Select a strip length and quantity appropriate to the repair or assembly task. Clean contact surfaces to remove oils, oxides or coatings for optimal electrical contact. Attach strips using suitable methods for the application — adhesive bonding for low-stress fixes, soldering or brazing where thermal joining is appropriate, or small rivets/screws for mechanical fastening. When used for grounding or shielding, ensure one end or a sufficient contact area is securely bonded to the chassis or grounding point.
For reliable electrical connection, abrade the contact area lightly and use conductive paste or solder where permitted. Avoid excessive mechanical stress on the 1 mm thickness; use multiple strips in parallel for higher current paths or increased mechanical strength. Store strips in a dry environment to maintain their surface condition prior to use.
