Description

The AC7811 HDMI 2.0 extender set transmits an HDMI signal over CAT6 UTP up to 60 meters at resolutions up to 4K@60Hz. The set includes a transmitter and receiver, supports bi-directional Power over Cable (PoC) so either unit can power the other via the UTP cable, and provides an HDMI loop output on the transmitter for a local display. The kit also includes IR transmitter and receiver modules for remote control, supports EDID copy and Chroma Sampling 4:4:4, and features screw-locked power connectors and a detachable mounting bracket.

Advantages

The extender provides 4K@60Hz signal extension over CAT6 UTP up to 60 m (longer distances at lower resolutions), enables local monitoring via the transmitter's HDMI loop output, and simplifies power wiring through bi-directional PoC. Secure screw-lock power connectors reduce the risk of accidental disconnection, and EDID copy ensures correct resolution negotiation between source and display. How to use

Connect the HDMI source to the transmitter unit's HDMI IN and optionally attach a local display to the transmitter's HDMI OUT. Run a CAT6 UTP cable between the transmitter and receiver and connect HDMI OUT on the receiver to the remote display. Provide 12 V power to either the transmitter or receiver; the other unit will receive power via PoC. Install the enclosed IR transmitter near the source and the IR receiver near the remote display to enable remote control. Use the EDID copy function if needed to ensure correct resolution negotiation.

Usage recommendations

For best results use quality CAT6 UTP cabling in good condition, keep cable runs away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference, and ensure the power connector is fully tightened to the screw-lock to avoid accidental disconnection. When using higher resolutions at longer distances, verify display and source compatibility and use the EDID copy feature if image issues occur.
