ACT 4K HDMI splitter, 1 in 4 out, EDID support
The ACT 4K HDMI splitter (1 in, 4 out) lets you display a single 4K HDMI source on up to four separate TVs or monitors. Designed for digital signage and multi-screen setups in stores, waiting rooms, bars and offices, it supports a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 (4K) at 60Hz and includes an external power adapter and detachable mounting brackets.
This HDMI splitter supports 4K@60Hz with Chroma 4:4:4 and HDCP 1.4, ensuring accurate color sampling and content protection compatibility. EDID handling copies display information so the source device and connected screens negotiate the correct resolution. Status LEDs provide quick connection feedback, and the compact black metal housing with mounting brackets allows wall or desk installation.
This splitter uses HDMI High Speed 1.4 and HDCP 1.4, so it may not support features that require newer HDMI standards (for example HDMI 2.0/2.1-specific functions). If you need advanced HDR formats or bandwidth beyond 4K@60Hz with higher chroma or frame rates, consider a device that explicitly lists those capabilities.
Connect your 4K HDMI source to the HDMI input on the splitter and run HDMI cables from the four outputs to the displays. Power the unit with the supplied external adapter. The EDID function will read the display connected to HDMI output 1 and set the resolution for the source and all outputs. Use the status LEDs to confirm active connections and ensure all HDMI cables and displays support the required resolution and HDCP version.
For reliable 4K distribution, connect the most capable display to HDMI output 1 so the EDID negotiation sets the optimal resolution. Use high-quality HDMI cables and place the splitter near the source or use powered long-reach cabling solutions if displays are far from the splitter.
