ACT 4-Port DisplayPort 4K@60Hz KVM switch
The ACT 4-Port DisplayPort 4K@60Hz KVM switch allows a single DisplayPort monitor, USB keyboard and mouse to control four computers. The switch supports DisplayPort 1.4a with HDCP 2.2 and can drive a monitor up to 4K@60Hz with 4:4:4 12-bit colour. The metal-housed unit includes the necessary cabling and accessories for installation.
The switch consolidates video and USB peripheral control for up to four hosts, reducing desk clutter and simplifying workstation management. Multiple switching methods are supported — front-panel buttons, IR remote, keyboard hotkeys, mouse control or RS-232 commands — and the unit provides USB 3.2 Gen1 ports for sharing peripherals at up to 5 Gbps. DP++ compatibility and MST daisy-chaining support add flexibility for connecting passive HDMI/DVI adapters and multiple monitors where the source and bandwidth allow.
This KVM switch requires DisplayPort-equipped hosts or appropriate passive adapters for DP++ — systems without DisplayPort output or those needing active conversion may not be compatible. Also, extending multiple high-resolution monitors via MST depends on the source device bandwidth; systems with limited DisplayPort bandwidth may not support full-resolution multi-monitor setups.
Connect up to four computers to the KVM switch using the supplied DisplayPort and USB-B cables. Attach a single DisplayPort monitor and a USB keyboard and mouse to the switch’s console ports. Apply power using the included DC 12 V adapter and secure the power connector with the screw lock. Switch between connected hosts using the front-panel buttons, IR remote, keyboard hotkeys, mouse gestures or RS-232 commands as required. For multi-monitor setups, use DisplayPort MST daisy-chaining on supported sources and monitors, observing the total available bandwidth.
For reliable 4K@60Hz performance, use high-quality DisplayPort cables, ensure source graphics drivers are up to date, and verify host DisplayPort bandwidth when planning MST daisy-chain multi-monitor layouts.
