ACT RG-58 Coaxial Cable 50 Ohm 100 m Black

The ACT RG-58 Coaxial Cable 50 Ohm 100 m Black is a high-frequency transmission cable engineered to deliver reliable signal integrity and durability across various telecommunication and radio frequency applications. Supplied in a generous 100-meter length, this black coaxial cable provides the reach and flexibility needed for professional installations and network setups. Built to strict industry standards, it ensures consistent performance for demanding communication environments.

Advantages

This coaxial cable offers dependable signal transmission thanks to its precise 50 Ohm impedance, minimizing signal loss and interference over distance. The durable polyvinyl chloride outer jacket protects the internal conductor from physical wear and environmental factors, ensuring a long operational lifespan. Additionally, compliance with established IEEE and IBM standards guarantees seamless integration and reliable operation within standard network architectures.

Suitable for

• Radio frequency transmission and antenna connections
• Telecommunication applications requiring 50 Ohm impedance
• Network installations complying with IEEE and IBM standards
• Long-distance signal routing up to 100 meters

When it may not be suitable

This cable is not designed for video surveillance systems or television aerial connections that typically require 75 Ohm coaxial cables instead of 50 Ohm variants. It may also be unsuitable for high-density outdoor deployments where specialized armored or weather-resistant cabling is strictly required.

Key specifications

• Cable type: RG-58
• Impedance: 50 Ohm
• Cable length: 100 meters
• Color: Black
• Jacket material: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
• Standards compliance: IEEE, IBM

How to use

Unroll the desired length of the cable carefully from the 100-meter spool, avoiding sharp bends or kinks that could damage the internal conductor. Measure and cut the cable according to your installation requirements, then attach appropriate 50 Ohm connectors compatible with RG-58 cabling. Secure the routed cable along walls or through conduits using suitable mounting hardware, ensuring it is kept away from excessive heat sources and heavy electrical interference.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your equipment requires a 50 Ohm coaxial cable rather than a 75 Ohm alternative
• Confirm that the 100-meter length is sufficient for your specific routing path without excessive excess
• Check that compatible connectors for RG-58 cables are available for your installation

For optimal signal performance and longevity, avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius during installation and secure the cable properly to prevent tension on the connectors.
