Network junction box ACT WTM09 — Cat6, silver, 1 pcs
ACT WTM09 network junction box is a single-unit Cat6 junction enclosure in a silver finish, designed to protect and organise Cat6 cable connections and terminations. The box accommodates LSA IDC termination for reliable contact between conductors and is compatible with commercially available four- and eight-core installation cables in the AWG 26–22 range. It is intended for patching, jointing and neat routing of Ethernet runs in offices, server rooms and residential installations where Cat6 performance is required.
The junction box supports Cat6 cabling and allows extension or reconnection of shielded installation cables without soldering or additional connectors thanks to LSA IDC termination. Its compact silver enclosure provides physical protection for cable joints and terminations while maintaining a tidy installation. Compatibility with both four- and eight-core cables (AWG 26–22) ensures it can be used with a wide range of commercial installation cables.
Open the enclosure and route prepared cable ends into the internal termination area. Align conductors with the LSA IDC slots and press or close the IDC mechanism to establish a secure connection. Ensure shield continuity where required by connecting the cable shielding according to the installation practice. Close the junction box to protect the terminations and mount or place the box in the desired location, leaving access for maintenance or future rework.
Use the ACT WTM09 with properly prepared Cat6 installation cables and follow standard cable preparation and shielding practices. Verify conductor placement before actuating the IDC to avoid miswiring. For best performance, maintain recommended cable bend radii and keep joint locations free from moisture and extreme temperatures.
