Description

acutake ACU-IJUST2U-D is a 2U rackmount server chassis designed for industrial and data centre use. The chassis fits standard 19" racks and provides space for multiple 3.5" drives and standard ATX, mATX or EATX motherboards. The enclosure uses 1 mm steel for a rigid structure and includes a front USB 2.0 port. The power supply is a standard 2U unit and is not included.

Advantages

The 1 mm steel construction gives the chassis sufficient rigidity while most edges are blunted to reduce the risk of scratches during installation. The unit accommodates up to nine external 3.5" drive bays with a removable HDD frame and a fan panel; four 80 mm 12 V, 0.12 A fans are mounted behind the drive positions and the entire fan panel can be detached for maintenance. The compact 2U form factor supports deployment in standard rack systems.

How to use

Mount the chassis in a standard 19" rack using the front rack ears. Install the supported motherboard (ATX, mATX or EATX) and secure it to the motherboard tray. Fit drives into the removable 3.5" HDD frame and route power and data cables to the backplane or controller. Install a compatible standard 2U power supply in the PSU bay (not included). Connect the front USB 2.0 port and verify fan orientation and airflow; the fan panel can be removed for servicing or fan replacement.
