Description

The ADAM Audio A7V is a contemporary 2-way studio monitor that continues the lineage of the award-winning A7X. It combines a 7" multi-layer mineral woofer with a rotatable X-ART tweeter, hand-built in Berlin, to deliver a frequency response of 40–45,000 Hz and a maximum SPL of 113 dB. The enclosure is made from black MDF and the monitor accepts an AC input voltage of 100–240 V at 50 Hz. DSP-based voicing, equalization and room-correction functions are available and can be controlled remotely in real time via the free A Control software; firmware updates add new filters and tunings over the monitor’s lifetime.

Place the A7V monitors at ear level in a nearfield setup, forming an equilateral triangle with the listening position for accurate stereo imaging. Connect mains power (100–240 V) and feed the monitor with a balanced audio signal from your audio interface or console. Use the rotatable X-ART tweeter to orient the high-frequency dispersion to the listening position. Launch the free A Control software to configure DSP voicing, equalization and room-correction settings in real time; save presets as needed and apply firmware updates when available.

Usage recommendations
