Based on the PM8222 SmartIOC 2100 SAS/SATA protocol controller, the HBA 1100 family delivers enterprise-grade resiliency, broad ecosystem compatibility and reduced power consumption while supporting both HDDs and modern SSDs. The card uses a PCIe host interface and Mini‑SAS HD outputs and is suitable for compact rack servers and storage nodes.
