The ADATA HD710 Pro 2TB is a rugged 2.5" external hard drive that combines a compact form factor with water- and shock-resistant engineering. It uses a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface for fast data transfer and offers a durable triple-layered construction with shock vibration sensing and an ergonomic waterproof port cover. Designed for mobile use, the drive includes built-in cable management and a status indicator to inform you of activity and shocks.

Advantages

The HD710 Pro provides tested water protection that exceeds standard IP68 requirements, surviving up to 60 minutes at 2 meters depth, and meets military-grade shock resistance. Triple-layered protection—silicone outer shell, shock-absorbing buffer, and a secure inner plastic shell—reduces the risk of mechanical damage. Integrated shock sensors automatically stop drive activity during impact to prevent errors and limit the formation of bad sectors. How to use

Connect the included USB cable to a host device supporting USB 3.2 Gen 1 for optimal transfer speeds; the drive is also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 ports. Before exposing the drive to water or dusty environments, close the waterproof port cover securely. If the Shock vibration sensing indicator lights during movement, stop current operations and wait until vibrations cease; normal activity will resume automatically. Use the cable groove to store the detachable cable when transporting the drive to prevent damage or loss.

Usage recommendations

For long-term data safety, back up important files in at least two locations and avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures. When using the drive in wet conditions, ensure the port cover is fully closed and allow the drive to dry to ambient temperature before reconnecting if it has been submerged or washed.
