The ADATA DDR5 16GB 4800MHz module (2x8GB) brings next-generation system memory performance for desktop PCs in a standard 288-pin DIMM form factor. Running at up to 4800 MT/s with a 1.1V operating voltage and on-die ECC, this DDR5 U-DIMM increases bandwidth and stability compared with DDR4 while supporting higher capacities through improved internal bank architecture.
Higher transfer rates of up to 4800 MT/s provide significantly greater bandwidth than DDR4-3200. The module operates at a lower voltage (1.1V) and includes an integrated Power Management IC (PMIC) for improved power delivery and better energy efficiency. On-die ECC improves data integrity and real-time error correction. The internal architecture supports more bank groups and banks, enabling larger memory capacities within the same physical footprint.
Power off the PC and discharge residual power before installing. Install each 288-pin DIMM into compatible motherboard memory slots, aligning the module notch with the slot key and pressing firmly until the retention clips latch. For dual-channel operation, populate the correct paired slots as indicated by the motherboard manual. Enable any necessary BIOS settings if the motherboard requires manual configuration for DDR5 modules.
Choose a motherboard and CPU that explicitly support DDR5 memory and check the motherboard manual for supported frequencies and slot population rules. When upgrading from DDR4, note the different notch position and pinout—DDR5 modules are not backward compatible. Ensure proper system cooling and update BIOS to the latest version to maximize compatibility and stability.
