SSD disk ADATA 240 GB 2.5" SATA QLC 3D NAND model ASU630SS-240GQ-R
The ADATA 240 GB 2.5" SATA QLC 3D NAND ASU630SS-240GQ-R is a solid-state drive designed for upgrading desktop and laptop storage. With a 2.5-inch form factor and 240 GB capacity, it offers faster boot times and file transfers compared to traditional hard drives. The drive supports SATA III transfer rates up to 6 Gbit/s and delivers sequential read speeds up to 520 MB/s and sequential write speeds up to 450 MB/s, using QLC 3D NAND technology and dynamic SLC caching to balance capacity and performance.
This SSD provides a compact and low-weight storage solution that reduces system boot and application load times. The QLC 3D NAND architecture enables higher density in the 240 GB model while keeping costs competitive. Built-in error correction and NAND management improve data integrity and drive endurance. The absence of moving parts increases resistance to shock and vibration, lowers power consumption, and results in quieter operation compared with mechanical drives.
Install the drive into a 2.5" drive bay or a compatible mounting adapter and connect it to a SATA III port and power connector inside the computer. Initialize and format the drive in the operating system disk management utility or clone an existing system disk using disk migration software if moving from an HDD. For new installations, install the operating system or move data onto the drive and set it as the primary boot device in BIOS/UEFI if required.
Use the drive as a boot or application drive for improved responsiveness in general computing tasks. Enable AHCI mode in BIOS/UEFI and connect to a SATA III port for optimal throughput. For data protection and longevity, keep firmware updated and use available SSD management tools to monitor health and perform TRIM when supported by the operating system.
