SSD disk ADATA 512 GB M.2 Serial ATA III 3D NAND Ultimate SU650
The ADATA Ultimate SU650 SSD in M.2 form factor provides 512 GB of solid-state storage with a SATA III interface. Designed for use in desktops and notebooks, this drive implements 3D NAND flash memory, an SLC caching algorithm and LDPC error correction to deliver sequential read speeds up to 550 MB/s and write speeds up to 510 MB/s over a 6 Gbit/s link. The M.2 design and light weight make it suitable for space-constrained systems while offering improved reliability and faster boot and file-transfer performance compared with many 2D NAND alternatives.
The SU650 combines 3D NAND technology with SLC caching to improve sustained throughput and responsiveness for everyday computing tasks. Advanced LDPC ECC reduces bit errors and helps preserve data integrity and drive lifespan. With SATA III performance optimized for an M.2 2280 package, the drive supports fast boot times, quicker application loading and noticeably faster file transfers compared with traditional HDDs.
Install the M.2 SSD into an available M.2 slot on a compatible motherboard or laptop following the device manufacturer’s installation instructions. Secure the module with the mounting screw and ensure the BIOS/UEFI recognizes the drive. Format and partition the drive within your operating system if required, or use cloning/migration software to transfer an existing system image. ADATA's Toolbox and Migration Utility can be used to monitor drive health and to migrate data from an existing HDD or SSD.
For optimal performance, enable AHCI mode in BIOS/UEFI when using the drive as a system disk, keep firmware and system drivers up to date, and avoid filling the drive to full capacity to maintain SLC cache effectiveness. Use the supplied or downloadable migration utility for safe system cloning and the toolbox application for monitoring wear levels and drive health.
