The ADATA XPG MAESTRO PLUS 42SA is a 12 cm air cooler designed to provide efficient CPU cooling for modern desktop platforms. It combines a single-tower heatsink with four heat pipes, a high-density fin stack and an ARGB-equipped 120 x 120 x 25 mm fan featuring Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) for quiet, reliable operation. The cooler supports contemporary sockets including INTEL LGA 1851, LGA 1700 and AMD Socket AM5, delivering up to 220 W TDP to help maintain processor performance.
The MAESTRO PLUS 42SA offers a high cooling capacity of 220 W TDP in a compact single-tower design, with four direct-contact heat pipes and a large-surface fin array for efficient heat dissipation. The included 12 cm FDB fan supports PWM for adaptive speeds and keeps average noise levels low. A digital status panel and compatibility with XPG Prime software provide real-time monitoring of CPU temperature and usage, while ARGB lighting adds a customizable visual element.
Install the MAESTRO PLUS 42SA according to the motherboard socket type using the supplied mounting hardware and follow the manufacturer's instructions for securing the cooler to the CPU. Apply an appropriate amount of thermal paste between the CPU heat spreader and the cooler base before fastening. Connect the fan to a PWM-capable CPU fan header for automatic speed control and optionally connect the digital status panel and ARGB header to compatible motherboard or controller headers. Verify clear airflow paths within the case and ensure the cooler fits without obstructing memory modules or other components.
For optimal results, use the motherboard BIOS or XPG Prime software to configure a smart fan curve so the fan increases speed under load and remains quiet at idle. Ensure case airflow is adequate—intake and exhaust fans improve overall cooling performance. Regularly clean dust from fins and fan blades to maintain efficiency.
