AV extender Adder ALIF1002R-IEC
ADDERLink Infinity 1002 (ALIF1002R-IEC) is a high-performance KVM extender designed to separate critical computing hardware from the user workstation while preserving a pixel-perfect desktop experience. It supports single CATx cable links up to 100 m, unlimited distances over standard IP networks, and fibre links from 500 m up to 10 km. The unit delivers digital video with 1:1 pixel mapping, low latency and a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz, and includes USB 2.0 class control plus EDID management for consistent display behaviour.
Provides pixel-perfect, colour-accurate video with spatially-lossless encoding and 1:1 pixel mapping, ensuring no compression artefacts. Flexible connectivity supports CAT5e/6/7, 1GbE networks for unlimited extension distances, and SFP fibre transceivers for long-range links. USB 2.0 class control supports HID devices and can restrict non-HID mass storage for security. Built-in EDID management communicates true monitor characteristics back to the host. Devices ship zero-config for plug-and-play use and include redundant network operation to switch automatically to a secondary port in case of failure.
Connect the transmitter to the source computer and the receiver to the user workstation display, keyboard and mouse. Choose the appropriate link type—single CATx cable for up to 100 m, add 1GbE network devices for further extension over IP, or fit SFP fibre transceivers for long-distance links. Plug in USB peripherals to the receiver; configure USB class control if you need to restrict non-HID devices. The unit requires no driver installation and operates in a zero-config, plug-and-play mode.
For reliable performance use quality CAT5e/6/7 cabling or certified fibre transceivers for long runs; when deploying in secure environments enable the non-HID disable feature to prevent unauthorized mass storage access and consider using the AdderLink Infinity management (A.I.M.) to scale to a matrix KVM setup.
