Pressure shut-off valve Afriso AMC 2-way, 2x female G1/2, PN25
Afriso AMC is a 2-way pressure shut-off valve designed for reliable isolation and control of manometers and pressure instrumentation. The valve features two female G1/2 connections and is rated for a maximum operating pressure of PN25. It is intended for installation in heating, plumbing and industrial systems where safe separation of measurement devices is required for measurement, calibration or maintenance tasks.
The Afriso AMC shut-off valve provides a compact solution for isolating pressure instruments, with corrosion-resistant materials suitable for typical heating and plumbing media. Its two-way design allows easy connection of instruments and simple manual operation to open or close the measuring line. The valve’s PN25 pressure rating ensures suitability for many domestic and light industrial applications where moderate system pressures are present.
Install the Afriso AMC valve in-line between the pressure instrument and the process connection using appropriate thread sealant or tape on the G1/2 female threads as required. Ensure the system is depressurized before installation or removal. After mounting, operate the valve manually to open the measuring line for normal measurement or to close it for isolation during calibration and maintenance. Verify tightness and correct function at system pressure before returning the installation to service.
Use the valve within its PN25 pressure rating and with media compatible with typical heating and plumbing installations. Periodically inspect threaded connections for leakage and ensure the valve is not exposed to aggressive chemicals or temperatures outside the manufacturer’s intended range. For calibration or service, always isolate and depressurize the line before disconnecting instruments.
