Agam PG16 Cable Gland 10-14mm IP67 Light Grey
The Agam PG16 cable gland is a robust solution for securing cable entries into electrical enclosures, junction boxes, and control panels. Engineered to accommodate cables with a diameter ranging from 10mm to 14mm, this component ensures a firm grip and a reliable seal, preventing accidental pull-out and protecting internal components from environmental hazards. Its light grey finish provides a professional appearance suitable for various industrial and commercial electrical installations.
This cable gland offers superior protection against environmental elements thanks to its IP67 ingress protection rating, which guarantees total resistance to dust ingress and protection against the effects of temporary water immersion. The durable construction ensures long-term reliability in demanding conditions, while the precise design allows for quick and efficient installation. By maintaining a secure seal, it helps preserve the integrity of electrical connections and prevents moisture or debris from compromising sensitive equipment.
This product may not be suitable for applications involving high-pressure water jets, extreme chemical exposure, or environments requiring specialized explosion-proof certifications. It is also not intended for use with cables outside the specified 10-14mm diameter range, as this would prevent the seal from functioning correctly.
To install the Agam PG16 cable gland, first ensure the cable is passed through the gland body before tightening the dome nut. Secure the gland into the enclosure wall using the appropriate threaded port. Once the cable is positioned, tighten the dome nut firmly by hand or with a suitable wrench to compress the internal seal around the cable jacket, ensuring a watertight and dust-tight connection.
For optimal performance, ensure the cable surface is clean and free of debris before tightening the gland. Do not overtighten the nut, as this may damage the internal sealing gasket or the cable insulation.
