The AJA KONA LHe Plus is an internal SDI interface card that delivers desktop-level I/O for video professionals who need reliable capture and playback without excessive cost. It supports HD and SD analog and digital video and audio I/O, with SDI output and an RS-422 serial control connection, enabling integration of analog and digital sources and multiple output formats within a single workflow.

Advantages

KONA LHe Plus offers configurable 10-bit or 8-bit uncompressed video with one input and two independently configurable outputs for HD or SD. The card provides 2-channel AES digital audio, 8-channel embedded SDI audio, analog composite/S-video/component video I/O, 2-channel balanced analog audio I/O, Genlock input and three BNCs that can be set for analog video input or output. Hardware-based AJA conversion provides broadcast-quality, motion-adaptive HD-to-SD down-conversion and HD/SD 12-bit component analog output for consistent multi-format monitoring and delivery.
