AKS MKE Cable Trunking Corner Connector 15x17mm White

The AKS MKE corner connector is a specialized accessory designed for 15x17mm cable trunking systems. This component allows for a seamless and secure transition of cables around corners, ensuring that your cable management installation remains tidy and protected. Finished in a neutral white color, it integrates discreetly into most interior wall surfaces, providing a professional and clean appearance for both residential and office wiring projects.

Advantages

This corner connector offers a robust solution for maintaining the structural integrity of cable trunking runs. By using this dedicated accessory, you eliminate the need for complex manual cutting or mitering of the trunking, which often results in uneven edges. The durable material construction ensures long-term stability, protecting the internal wiring from dust, mechanical damage, and accidental displacement while keeping the installation aesthetically pleasing.

Suitable for

• Residential electrical wiring installations
• Office cable management systems
• Routing cables around internal wall corners
• Organizing low-voltage and power cabling

When it may not be suitable

This connector is specifically engineered for 15x17mm trunking profiles and will not fit larger or smaller cable ducting systems. It is intended for indoor use only and should not be installed in areas exposed to high humidity, direct sunlight, or extreme temperatures, as these conditions may affect the material properties over time.

Key specifications

• Compatibility: 15x17mm cable trunking
• Material: Durable plastic
• Color: White
• Application: Corner connection

How to use

To install the connector, ensure that your cable trunking is cut to the appropriate length to reach the corner. Align the connector with the ends of the two trunking sections meeting at the corner. Press the connector firmly onto the trunking until it clicks or sits securely in place. Ensure that the cables are properly seated within the trunking before closing the system to prevent pinching or damage to the insulation.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify the dimensions of your existing trunking to ensure it matches the 15x17mm specification.
• Check the corner angle, as this connector is designed for standard 90-degree wall corners.
• Ensure the color matches your existing trunking system for a uniform look.

Usage recommendations

For the best results, ensure that the trunking ends are cut cleanly and are free of burrs before attaching the connector. This ensures a tight fit and prevents gaps that could compromise the appearance of the installation.
