Screw Akyga AK-CA-21, steel, stainless finish, length 5 mm, pack of 4
Akyga AK-CA-21 is a set of four steel screws with a stainless finish and a length of 5 mm. Each screw weighs approximately 3.8 g. Produced in Poland, this pack is intended for small mounting and assembly tasks where short, corrosion-resistant fasteners are required. The screws are suitable for use in electronics enclosures and computer cases, including safe installation of fans in ATX computer cases and for general DIY repairs and bracket mounting.
The screws are made of steel with a stainless finish that provides basic corrosion resistance and a consistent appearance. Their short 5 mm length and light weight make them suitable for thin panels and confined spaces where longer screws could interfere with internal components. Supplied as a set of four, they allow for complete mounting of small components such as fans or brackets without the need to source individual fasteners.
Select the Akyga AK-CA-21 screws when a short-length, corrosion-resistant fastener is required. Use an appropriate screwdriver or driver bit that matches the screw head type (confirm head type visually before use). Align the component and pre-position the screw through the mounting hole; apply steady, moderate torque to avoid stripping the thread or damaging thin panels. For fan installation in an ATX case, position the fan so that screw tips do not contact internal circuitry or cables and tighten evenly at opposite corners to ensure stable mounting.
Do not overtighten screws in plastic or thin metal panels; if resistance increases sharply, back out and check alignment. If mounting into threaded inserts or nuts, ensure compatible thread engagement. Store the pack in a dry place to preserve the stainless finish.
