Alkotest ZZ2512 brass threaded connector GZ Ø25×1/2 for piping
Threaded connector Alkotest ZZ2512 (GZ Ø25×1/2) is a brass fitting designed to join Ø25 mm pipes with 1/2" threaded female fittings. The part provides a male (external) thread on one end and a smooth connection for 25 mm pipe on the other, offering a compact, corrosion-resistant transition between different piping types. Intended for plumbing installations, water supply lines and repair work, this brass connector ensures a mechanically stable threaded junction when used with appropriate sealing materials.
The connector is made of brass for good corrosion resistance and mechanical strength in typical plumbing conditions. Its male threaded end provides a standard 1/2" external thread for compatibility with common fittings, while the Ø25 connection accommodates plastic or metal pipes of that diameter. The compact design simplifies transitions between pipe systems and reduces the need for additional adapters when matching 25 mm piping to 1/2" threaded components.
Prepare the pipe end to a clean, square cut and ensure the mating female thread or fitting is free of debris. For threaded junctions, apply an appropriate thread sealant such as PTFE tape or pipe joint compound on the 1/2" male thread before assembling to the female fitting. Insert or join the Ø25 pipe side according to the pipe type: push-fit, soldering or adhesive method as applicable for the pipe material and local codes. Tighten the threaded connection to a secure fit without over-torquing to avoid thread damage.
Use compatible sealing materials on the 1/2" thread and follow the pipe manufacturer's instructions for connecting Ø25 piping. Inspect connections for leaks after pressurizing the system and avoid excessive mechanical stress or bending at the connector location.
