The Alpenföhn Dolomit Premium 12 cm Black is a single-tower CPU cooler engineered for balanced thermal performance and broad compatibility. Featuring a 120 mm fan with hydraulic bearing, the cooler operates between 500 and 1600 RPM, delivers up to 92.6 m³/h airflow and reaches a maximum noise level of 23.5 dB. The cooler's dimensions (126 mm width, 86 mm depth, 154 mm height) and an all-black heatsink design make it suitable for a wide range of PC builds while providing a rated thermal design power (TDP) of 210 W.

Advantages

The Dolomit Premium combines six high-end heat pipes with a nickel-plated copper base plate to provide efficient heat transfer from the CPU to the large fin stack. An asymmetrical, all-black heatsink improves RAM clearance and compatibility on popular sockets. The included 120 mm Wing Boost 3 fan with addressable RGB lighting offers configurable illumination without compromising cooling efficiency. The kit also includes Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut thermal paste and removable fan clips to support an optional second 120 mm fan for increased airflow when required.

How to use

Prepare the motherboard by removing any existing cooler and cleaning the CPU contact surface. Apply a thin, even layer of the supplied Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut thermal paste to the CPU heat spreader. Position the cooler over the CPU and secure it using the supplied Rock Mount 3 mounting system following the included installation guide for your socket. Connect the fan to the CPU fan header for automatic speed control and, if available, connect the ARGB cable to an addressable RGB header or controller. If additional cooling is needed, mount a second 120 mm fan to the rear of the heatsink using the provided fan clips.

Usage recommendations

For reliable operation and low noise, configure fan speed control through the motherboard BIOS or a fan controller. Ensure case airflow is adequate—intake and exhaust fans should provide balanced airflow to maximize the cooler's effectiveness. When installing tall RAM modules, verify clearance before finalizing cooler mounting; the asymmetrical heatsink is designed to improve compatibility but checking fitment is advised.
