Thermal paste Alphacool 12715 1.7 W/m·K 3 g
Alphacool 12715 Silver Grease is a silicone-based thermal paste containing silver particles, supplied in a 3 g syringe. With a thermal conductivity of 1.7 W/m·K, it is intended for improving heat transfer between heat-generating components and their coolers while remaining non-electrically conductive.
The silicone matrix with dispersed silver particles provides reliable thermal transfer at an affordable price. The 3 g syringe format allows precise application and sufficient quantity for multiple installations or tests. The compound is non-conductive electrically, reducing the risk of short circuits if applied carefully.
Clean both contact surfaces from old paste and contaminants before application. Apply a small, even amount of Alphacool Silver Grease to the center of the heat source and mount the cooler with even pressure to spread the paste into a thin, continuous layer. Do not apply excessive amounts; a thin layer ensures optimal thermal transfer.
Store the syringe at room temperature away from direct sunlight. For critical high-performance applications consider testing thermal resistance; for routine builds and multiple tests this compound provides a balance between performance and cost.
