The Alphacool 12949 Eisblock XPX Aurora Edge water block is a compact CPU cooling solution in grey and black, made of acrylic and copper. It uses Alphacool's patented ramp flow system and an enlarged coolant channel area to improve heat transfer from modern multi-core CPUs. The block integrates addressable digital RGB LEDs around the cooling housing for adjustable illumination and includes a Y-adapter on the cable for easy daisy-chaining of other Alphacool Aurora products.

Advantages

The patented ramp design evens the coolant flow across the diffuser plate to press water uniformly over the cooling base, while the enlarged cooling channel (34 x 32 mm) and 81 thin fins (0.2 mm) increase surface area for efficient heat diffusion. Integrated aRGB LEDs (up to 15 LEDs) provide uniform lighting around the block and can be controlled via a compatible controller or a 3-pin 5V motherboard header.
