The Alphacool Rise Ultra Soft thermal pad (model 13011) is a high-performance thermal interface material with a thermal conductivity of 7 W/m·K and dimensions 100 x 100 x 0.5 mm. Designed as an upgrade over standard thermal pads, its soft, paste-like consistency allows the pad to conform closely to components and heatsinks, improving heat transfer while remaining stable over extended use.

Advantages

The Rise Ultra Soft material fills surface irregularities more effectively than conventional pads and mimics some properties of thermal paste, resulting in improved contact and lower thermal resistance. Its low stiffness reduces contact pressure on tall components such as voltage regulators and VRMs, helping to avoid PCB flexing. The material is resistant to drying out or hardening over time, maintaining thermal performance longer than typical silicone pads. The foil-backed sheet is easy to cut cleanly to size with scissors, producing straight, non-fraying edges.
