Heatsink Alphacool NexXxoS UT60
The Alphacool NexXxos UT60 heatsink is a full-copper design intended for water-cooling systems. Built with copper chambers, fins and channels, this 60 mm-thick heat exchanger improves thermal performance and supports high coolant flow rates. Its flat chamber profile reduces overall length for more flexible mounting and the black finish matches common system builds. The UT60 is compatible with 140 mm fan mounting and is designed for reliable, serviceable installation in compact enclosures.
The NexXxos UT60 offers full-copper construction across fins, channels and chambers for improved heat transfer compared with mixed-material radiators. Separated chambers guide coolant for higher flow rates and better loop performance. Flat chambers reduce required installation depth, and multiple inlet/outlet fitting positions increase mounting options. A 1/4" screw plug (on UT60 models) enables easy deaeration and vertical installation, while internal protective ledges prevent fan-mounting screws from damaging the fins. Fin spacing and design ensure effective cooling even with slow to medium-speed fans, widening compatible fan choices and reducing noise.
Install the NexXxos UT60 into your water-cooling loop following the case and loop layout. Mount 140 mm fans to the designated screw points using M3 screws; the radiator’s internal protective ledge reduces risk of fin damage from over-inserted screws. Choose inlet and outlet positions from the available ports to minimise angled fittings and maintain high flow. Use the 1/4" screw plug to bleed air from the radiator during filling and to assist vertical installation if required. Ensure all fittings are tightened to the manufacturer’s recommended torque and check the loop for leaks before powering the system.
For best performance, pair the UT60 with quality 140 mm fans running at low to medium speeds to balance cooling and noise. When filling the loop, use the radiator’s 1/4" threaded opening for deaeration or combined filling with a compatible Fillport. In tight builds, select fitting positions that reduce hose bends to preserve flow rate.
