Radiator block Alphacool NexXxoS XT45
The Alphacool NexXxos XT45 radiator block is a full-copper construction intended for liquid cooling systems. It measures 182 mm × 402 mm × 45 mm and is compatible with 180 mm fan mounting. Main components including fins, channels and chambers are made of copper to improve thermal conductivity. The radiator is supplied with mounting hardware (M3x30 mm and M3x35 mm screws) and 1/4" plugs for filling and de-aeration.
The full-copper design provides a material-level advantage in heat transfer compared with mixed-metal radiators. Separated, flat chambers direct coolant flow and support high flow rates while reducing overall length for easier installation. Multiple threaded inlet/outlet positions (except on the ST30 variant) and a 1/4" screw plug on UT60 and Monsta models simplify filling, de-aeration and vertical mounting. Standard M3 threads and an internal protective ledge prevent damage from over-inserted screws. The fin geometry is optimised for effective performance with slow to medium-speed fans, allowing quieter operation and a wider choice of compatible fans.
Install the radiator in the loop using the provided M3 screws and compatible fan mounts for 180 mm fans. Choose appropriate inlet/outlet positions to minimise angled fittings and maintain straight flow paths where possible. Use the 1/4" threaded opening to fill or de-aerate the radiator when applicable (UT60 and NexXxos Monsta models) and ensure connections are tightened to the recommended torque for threaded fittings. Verify orientation and clearance before final assembly to avoid interference with other components.
For optimal results, pair the NexXxos XT45 with slow to medium-speed 180 mm fans to balance airflow, noise and thermal performance. Use straight fittings where space allows to preserve the designed high flow rates, and perform a leak test after filling and before powering the system.
