Radiator block Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Copper Steel Black 61.5mm 45mm

The Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Copper Steel Black 61.5mm 45mm radiator block is designed to provide efficient and reliable liquid cooling for demanding setups. Engineered with quality materials and a compact form factor, this heat exchanger delivers optimal thermal performance to maintain stable temperatures in high-performance computer systems. Its full copper construction ensures superior heat transfer compared to standard models, making it a dependable component for custom water cooling loops.

Advantages

This radiator block features a full copper build encompassing the main parts, fins, channels, and chambers, which significantly boosts thermal conductivity and overall cooling efficiency. The internal structure utilizes separated chambers to direct the coolant effectively, supporting high flow rates to optimize the entire loop. Flat chambers contribute to a reduced overall length, enhancing mounting flexibility and allowing installation in restricted spaces where larger hardware might not fit. Additionally, an integrated internal protective ledge prevents mounting screws from damaging the fins, reducing the risk of accidental damage during assembly. The optimized fin design allows the unit to perform exceptionally well with both slow-spinning and medium-speed fans, ensuring effective heat dissipation without excessive noise.

Suitable for

• Custom liquid cooling loops in high-performance desktop computers
• Cooling setups constrained by limited internal enclosure space
• Systems requiring efficient thermal management with low-noise fan operation
• Water cooling configurations demanding high coolant flow rates

When it may not be suitable

This radiator block may not be suitable for systems that rely exclusively on air cooling rather than liquid cooling loops. It is also not intended for industrial applications requiring specialized non-copper metallurgy or high-pressure fluid systems outside of standard PC water cooling.

Key specifications

• Material: Full copper main parts, fins, channels, and chambers with steel components
• Dimensions: 61.5 mm width and 45 mm thickness
• Thread type: Standard M3 mounting threads
• Compatibility: Designed for standard PC water cooling fittings and configurations

How to use

Mount the radiator securely into your computer chassis using appropriate M3 screws, ensuring that the screws do not exceed the depth of the mounting holes. Connect the radiator to your custom liquid cooling loop using standard 1/4 inch fittings and tubing, ensuring a secure and leak-free seal. Integrate the unit with compatible cooling fans mounted to the designated areas, and fill the cooling loop with appropriate coolant. Perform a leak test before powering on the system components, and bleed any trapped air from the loop to ensure optimal flow and thermal performance.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify available physical space inside your computer enclosure to ensure the 61.5mm width and 45mm thickness fit correctly
• Check compatibility with your existing or planned liquid cooling fittings and pump flow rates
• Ensure you have compatible fans of the correct size to pair with the heat exchanger

Usage recommendations: Regularly inspect your liquid cooling loop for any signs of debris or coolant degradation, and flush the system periodically to maintain peak thermal efficiency. Use appropriate corrosion inhibitors in your coolant mixture to protect the copper surfaces over extended periods of operation.
