Radiator block Alphacool NexXxoS XT45
The Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 1080 Nova radiator delivers a large copper cooling surface of 350 x 350 x 45 mm designed for high-performance liquid cooling systems. Built with copper end chambers, water channels and cooling fins, this radiator supports up to nine 120 mm fans (or four 200 mm fans) and provides robust heat dissipation for demanding PC cooling setups. The unit includes two G1/4" threads for inlet and outlet and an additional G1/4" thread on the rear that can be used as a fill port, temperature sensor connection or drain.
The use of pure copper throughout the end tanks, water channels and fins gives higher thermal conductivity compared with aluminium, improving heat transfer. A 12 FPI fin density combined with tiny serrations on each fin directs airflow, increases effective surface area and balances cooling performance with low airflow resistance. Interchangeable fan mounting plates and the option to remove the mounting frame allow flexible installation for active fan cooling or passive operation.
Mount the radiator in your case or external loop following your chassis and loop layout. Install compatible fans on the mounting frame or remove the frame for passive airflow. Connect the radiator to your cooling loop using the two G1/4" ports for inlet and outlet; use the rear G1/4" port as a fill port, for a temperature sensor or as a drain. Ensure fittings and tubing are rated for G1/4" threads and check for leaks after filling the loop.
For optimal balance between cooling and noise, use a combination of medium-static-pressure 120 mm fans and ensure unobstructed airflow through the 12 FPI fin array. Regularly inspect and clean fins to maintain performance; when installing in confined spaces, verify clearance for a 350 x 350 x 45 mm cooling surface and the fan configuration chosen.
