The Alphacool 17392 Eiszapfen 90° compression fitting (13mm) is a high-end connector for liquid cooling systems, manufactured from brass with a chrome finish. One side has a 1/4" thread compatible with the majority of cooling components, while the opposite side compresses onto a 13mm hard tube (acrylic or brass). The fitting is angled at 90° to simplify tubing runs and reduce the need for complex hose routing. The product measures approximately 21 mm in width and 42.5 mm in depth.

Advantages

The Eiszapfen series combines high flow performance, precise machining and durable surface coating. A specialized bonding process secures the outer finish to the metal to reduce chipping and peeling. The distinctive Alphacool logo and shape aid identification, while the slanted corners of the union nut press the O-ring more firmly against the hard tube for an improved seal and increased transport safety. The threaded side is rotatable to offer greater installation flexibility.

How to use

Slide the compression ring and union nut onto the 13mm hard tube, insert the tube fully into the fitting and tighten the union nut by hand until the O-ring compresses and forms a seal. Connect the threaded 1/4" side to the corresponding component and rotate the fitting as needed to achieve the desired orientation. Ensure all connections are hand-tightened and then test the loop for leaks before full operation.

Usage recommendations

Before filling the loop, perform a leak test with non-powered circulation or use a suitable leak tester. Use compatible 13mm hard tubing and replace O-rings if damaged. Avoid overtightening metal fittings to prevent damage to threads or tubing.
