The Alphacool ES D-Plug is a compact brass connector with two G1/4" male threads designed to join water-cooling components such as radiators, GPU and CPU coolers inside a closed loop. It is available in a black finish, has a nominal length of 2 cm and a lightweight construction (54 g) while providing a secure, serviceable connection for tight installations.

Advantages

The ES D-Plug differs from conventional double nipples by using a push-fit design rather than a threaded coupling, with two closely fitting O-rings on the male part ensuring a tight seal. The connector has been tested by Alphacool to withstand pressures up to 1.5 bar. It also offers a variable length: pulling the two halves apart provides up to 15 mm of extension to compensate for small alignment errors and to avoid hose twisting during assembly. Replacement O-rings in different colours are included.

How to use

Insert the male end of the ES D-Plug into a compatible G1/4" female port until both O-rings are fully recessed in the female component to ensure proper sealing. If additional length is required, pull the two halves apart to extend the connector up to 15 mm and then insert. To disconnect, pull the connector apart and remove the male part from the female thread. No threaded screwing is required for normal installation and removal.
