The Alphacool 18714 EPDM tube is a durable rubber tubing designed for water-cooled PC loops. The matte black hose with a subtle velvet finish provides a discreet appearance while offering increased resistance to acids, bases and external influences compared with conventional PVC tubing. The product comes as a 100 cm length and is intended for use with standard water-cooling fittings in the corresponding size.
EPDM material offers higher temperature resistance than typical PVC tubing and remains dimensionally stable at elevated temperatures, reducing the risk of deformation at tight bends or connection points. This stability helps prevent leaks and flow obstructions. Additionally, the tube’s high resistance to chemical and environmental influences contributes to long service life and reliable operation in cooling loops.
Cut the EPDM tube to the required length with a clean, straight cut to ensure a secure connection. Slide the tube onto compatible fittings from Alphacool (Eiszapfen or HF series) or other fittings of the correct diameter. Ensure clamps or compression fittings are tightened according to the fitting manufacturer’s instructions and check the loop for leaks after filling and pressurizing the system.
Use the Alphacool EPDM tube in cooling loops where higher operating temperatures or increased chemical resistance are expected. Verify inner and outer diameters match your fittings before installation and perform a leak test after assembly.
