How to use

Begin by selecting and preparing the cable: cut wires to the required length using the included side cutters. If shortening or building new wires, set the automatic wire stripper to the correct strip length and pressure and remove the insulation from the conductor. Fit the appropriate crimping jaws to the crimping tool for the terminal size you will use, then crimp the purchased terminals onto the stripped wires. When sleeving with paracord-like materials (for example Alphacool Alphacord), thread the wire through the rear of the sleeving needle and push the needle through the sleeve together with the wire to avoid snagging. Use the included pin extractors to remove existing terminals from connector housings or to position crimped terminals into housings. Store tools back in the foam insert to keep the kit organised.
